Shantal M. English is a creative, innovative and passionate Attorney-at-Law. She is the Copyright and Related Rights Manager at the Jamaica Intellectual Property Office. She is also an Authorand served as AdjunctTutor at The University of the West Indies, Faculty of Law. She tutored courses such as Real Property Law, Law of Torts, Legal Methods and Research Writing and additional tutorials for Intellectual Property Law.
Her love and passion for law is fulsome, she has a strong passion for Real Property, Intellectual Property Law, and Company Law. She has also conducted and presented at legal seminars on diverse matters of the Law.
She is a past student of The Queens School, The University of the West Indies and the Norman Manley Law School. She is a Board Advisor for a youth led Organization, I Aspire International. She has received several service and academic awards.
Shantal is also a motivational speaker and advisor and is actively involved in community development where she displays her passion for youth development. She is also a Volunteer with the Ministry of Justice, Victim Services Division, St. Catherine.
She spends most of her spare time writing, volunteering, researching and making a difference in the lives of others. Shantal’s desire is to continue to be an agent of change impacting, influencing and making a difference in the world.
