Rosena is an IP expert for the Qatar Research Development and Innovation Council (QRDI). She is responsible for leading efforts in ensuring that IP plays acrucial role in Qatar’s innovation transformation plans as set out in the Qatar Research Development and Innovation Strategy (QRDI 2030).Rosena has expertise in IP framework analysis and evaluation. She providesIP advisory services to government entities, private entities as well as knowledge institutions. Rosena has substantial proficiency in IP policy development, IP management,IP protection strategies, IP awareness, IP identification and IP commercialization. Rosena supports various research development and innovation actors to leverage IP for growth.

Rosena holds an LLM(Master of Laws) specialized in International Economic Law from the University of Warwick, UK. Rosena has been certified as a Recognized Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP) by ASTP, a premier European association for professionals involved in knowledge transfer among knowledge institutions and industry having undergone highly specialized training in Intellectual Propertysuch as IP Management, IP Valuation, IP Licensing, IP Marketing and Negotiation, Research and development collaborations among others. Rosena also holds certifications from specialized IP centers such as“Intellectual Asset Management” from Centre of Intellectual Property, Gothenburg, Sweden;“IP Transactions: Law and Practice”from UCL, London;“Understanding U.S Intellectual Property Law”from Stanford University which includedsite visits to prominent IP teams in Silicon Valley, California such as at Facebook Inc. and Apple Inc.  Rosena is an avid writer of intellectual property legal commentaries and was recently recognized and awarded the best author in the IP category by LexisNexis Middle East.
