Richard Milchior is a partner in the IP and the competition-distribution department. He specializes in Intellectual Property law, European Union law, Competition law, and Health law and has argued cases in front of the French court, the General Court, and the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg, and also in front of the French and European IP offices. He was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1979. After graduating from the Paris IEP (Sciences Po), Richard Milchior turned towards law, with an honors degree in Private Law (Université Paris Ouest Nanterre) in 1978, which he supplemented with an honors degree in Economic Science (Paris X Nanterre) in 1979. After being admitted to the Paris Bar, he obtained a post-graduate diploma (DEA) in General Private Law from Université Paris II – Panthéon Assas and a post-graduate diploma (DEA) in Criminal Law from the same University in 1981. In 1982, he obtained his Ph.D. in “Copyright and the Common Market”, then, in 1983, he graduated with a Master of Comparative Jurisprudence (New York University). He has a Mediation diploma from the University of South Florida ( Tampa) from 2008 and a diploma from EIMA to assist clients in Mediation from 2022.
