Privacy/Legal Operations/Litigation/Risk/Regulatory matter/ Board and
Shareholder relation.

In a career spanning more than 25 years, Raghvendra delivered business-
driven Legal strategy at global, regional, and national levels across industry

verticals and types of organizations. Currently, he is Chief Legal, Compliance, and Company Secretary at ISON Group which is focused on Egypt, East
Africa, West Africa, South Africa, UAE, India, and Asia Pacific markets. The
Group is into IT, ITES, Health, Telecommunication Infrastructure, and
customer services and have business operation in 35 Countries across Africa,
Middle East, India, and the Asia Pacific. He leads the group’s efforts in building
strong corporate governance, Compliance focused organizations.
He has a unique capability of identifying the root cause of the issue and is an excellent
solution provider who always comes up with a practical solution to resolve them,
whether the issue is related to a contract, Litigation, Human resources, M&A, Board
& Shareholders related, Regulator, Corporate Governance or Compliances.
He was instrumental in concluding the Private Equity Agreement & Loan
Agreement. He helped the organization in spreading its wings by Carrying out
acquisitions in Egypt, South Africa, Dubai, Cyprus, Mauritius, Kenya, Nigeria,
Tanzania, Mozambique, and other parts of Africa and the Middle East. He
ensured a smooth transition of business considering the laws of the respective countries
where the acquisition was made.
He negotiated many business & commercial Contract with companies in
Telecom, IT, ITES, Aviation, Retail, E-commerce, Banking, etc. As an astute
litigation strategist, he won many commercial cases, employee related
the issue, many cases of redundancies in Kenya, Tanzania, Nigeria, and South
Africa etc.

In the last fifteen years, Raghvendra worked with Promoters & Boards and
has been in the midst of building scale globally and in managing complexity.
Some of his other key achievements include setting up business in many
countries in Africa & Middle East, Building a robust compliance system in
Organization, Building culture in the organization to minimize the risk of employee-related issues and litigation. He is the pioneer to make ISON a diversified and
inclusive organization that respects all cultures, religions, sex, ethnicity,
colors, etc. ISON policy devised by him actually led ISON to win Best
Employer -Africa Award.
He acquired many companies across the globe including Egypt, South Africa,
Middle East, Mauritius India and ensure their smooth integration with ISON.
He won many Award for the organization including the Award for Champion of
Governance Award in Kenya, one of the 50 Best Legal falcons in the corporate
world, Best In-house legal team in Middle East, Global Achiever Award, Best
House lawyer award, 50 best corporate governance professional award, etc.
In public life, Raghvendra is active in social services. He organized various
stress elimination courses under the banner of Art of Living across India and
Africa. He used to distribute food to less privileged sections of society in Nigeria
and Kenya. He was instrumental to launch the “Girl Connect” project in Nigeria.
The “Girl Connect” project was to help the girls to resolve various social & personal
issues concerning them and it was extremely successful in Nigeria. He
actively writes for Magazines.
Raghvendra is a law graduate and member of the Institute of company
secretaries of India and lives in Dubai. He is one of the founding members of
the Institute of Company Secretary of India Dubai center called “ICSI NPIO”.
He is also a member of the international association of Privacy professionals
and a certified privacy professional.
