Lucius Klobucnik is a lecturer in intellectual property law at Aston University, Birmingham, UK. He holds a PhD degree from Queen Mary University, London, and Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich (Augsburg University). His main research focus is on copyright law (especially music rights), intellectual property in new technologies, platform liability. As part of his PhD research project, he worked at the German collective management organisation in music rights (GEMA) in Munich, and at CISAC (Confederation of societies of authors and composers) in Paris.
