I am a founding partner of the Watson IP Group, PLC and have practiced intellectual property law for over twenty-five years. My practice involves patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret and unfair competition matters. I assist clients to secure patents, trademarks and copyrights, and I assist clients with matters requiring counseling, portfolio management, due diligence and IP auditing, litigation, and transactional negotiation.

I am admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (1996). Additionally, I am licensed to practice law in both Illinois (1994) and Michigan (2003). I am further admitted in the Federal Circuit, the Northern District of Illinois, the Western District of Michigan and the Eastern District of Michigan, and have appeared in District Courts throughout the country. I have spoken in the US and Internationally at IP conferences.
