Mr. Gaskey has been practicing intellectual property law for 30 years, representing clients from all over the United States, Europe, and Asia whose businesses involve a broad spectrum of technologies. In 2000, David and two trusted colleagues established Carlson, Gaskey & Olds and quickly became a noteworthy firm repeatedly listed as one of the top intellectual property firms in America. The firm earned that reputation by providing the high-quality, high-value service that business owners should expect from their legal counsel. David has extensive experience obtaining patents, guiding clients around competitors’ patents, and litigating intellectual property disputes at the trial and appellate court levels. He was on the litigation team representing Arthrex in the case that was recently decided by the US Supreme Court, which agreed with CGO’s arguments that provisions of the patent statute were unconstitutional.

More recently, Mr. Gaskey co-foundedAltumatim and developed a unique software platform that helps attorneys find the best evidence for their case to achieve the best possible results for their clients. David is the CEO of Altumatim.
